Dr Chandrika Thangarajah is an experienced General Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in Australia and has worked in clinics in East Malvern, Upwey and Boronia.

She enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has special interests in Women’s and Children’s health, Mental Health, Family Planning and Chronic Disease Management.

Outside medicine, Dr Thangarajah loves Indian Classical music.
Dr Chandrika speaks fluently in Tamil, English and can understand Singhalese

Dr Chun Guan Chong graduated from University of Melbourne in 2007. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has a keen interest in General Practice and Family Medicine.

Dr Chong also has extensive surgical experience having completed years of surgical training before transitioned to General Practice. He has a special interest in weight management, minor surgical procedures and skin cancer surgery.

Dr. Chong also works as a bariatrician and assists in Bariatric and Robotic surgery in multiple private hospitals. Dr Chong also fluent in Mandarin and Malay.

Dr Somasundaram has worked in major hospitals in Australia and overseas.

– Minor procedures

Dr Somasundaram speaks fluent Tamil and basic Sinhalese.

Dr Erin Hatherell graduated from Flinders University in 2004. Coming from a background in research science, Dr Hatherell has always gravitated towards General Practice and enjoys all aspects of medicine.

Dr. Sreeja Swamidas brings a wealth of medical expertise to our practice. Dr Swamidas has background in heart surgery from her years in India between 2000-2012.

Dr. Swamidas is a proud Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), embodying the highest standards of care in her practice. While Dr. Swamidas possesses a rich surgical background, her true passion lies in general practice and family medicine.

Her commitment to holistic healthcare shines through as she takes a keen interest in a wide spectrum of medical areas, including:

– paediatrics

Dr Swamidas is fluent in Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu.

Dr Aria Adeli obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Kerman University of Medical Sciences in Iran, in 2002. He later received his Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification in 2009 and a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016.
Dr Adeli has interests in emergency medicine, children’s health, men’s health, preventative health and chronic disease management. He is skilled at performing minor surgical procedures, with a special interest in skin presentations.

Graduate in 1985 at the University of Pretoria. Procedural Rural Generalist in Australia since January 2000. Holds fellowship with both GP specialist Colleges and actively involved in junior doctor education. Appointed as a Medical Educator by RVTS (Rural Vocational Training Scheme).
Passionate about teaching. Has an interest in Procedural General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Skin Cancer and good family medicine.
