At Knox GP, we’ll lodge your rebate for you. When paying in person your rebate will appear in your account immediately and when paying over the phone you’ll receive it by 6 PM that evening.

You can enrol in Medicare if you live in Australia and are any of the following:

• Australian citizens
• New Zealand citizens
• Permanent residents
• Applying for a permanent residency
• A temporary resident covered by a ministerial order

The Medicare rebate is a partial refund for the cost of healthcare services in Australia. It is paid for by the Australian government and includes services such as doctor appointments, diagnostic tests and eye tests at optometrists.
