• Comprehensive full-body skin check performed by a qualified doctor.
• This consultation is bulk bulled for all eligible Medicare card holders.
• If a suspicious lesion is identified, the doctor will recommend a biopsy and explain the next steps.

Note: If a biopsy is recommended, you can choose to have it done immediately during this visit for $100 out-of-pocket, or return for the procedure at another time.

If the biopsy is performed during the first visit, your next appointment will be either a results review or an excision, depending on the outcome.

• If not completed during your first visit, a punch biopsy will be performed to sample the lesion.
• This includes the use of local anaesthetic, sterile consumables, and wound care materials.
• The sample will be sent to pathology, with results available within 1-2 weeks.

Option A: Results Review – $40 Out-of-Pocket

• Review of pathology results.
• Discussion of any further management, such as monitoring or specialist referral.

Option B: Excision Procedure – $150 Out-of-Pocket

• If a lesion requires removal, the doctor will perform a minor surgical excision.
• This includes the procedure, all consumables, and aftercare.
